Dr. Jacob M. Gady, D.M.D., M.D.
Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Jacob Gady practices as both a dentist and physician and is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He was born and raised in South Eastern Massachusetts. He attended Union College in Upstate New York for his undergraduate training, earning a bachelor of science in 2002. Jacob then moved to Boston, MA where he completed a post baccalaureate premedical program at Tufts University. During this time, he conducted research and published journal articles at Tufts Dental School. He then moved to Connecticut where he studied at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and received his D.M.D. in 2009.
Following graduation, Jacob completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 2015 through the University of Connecticut. During this advanced specialty training, he also completed medical school and earned his M.D. in 2012 at University of Connecticut.
This residency trained Jacob to perform the full scope of oral surgery, including orthognathic surgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, major head and neck trauma, general anesthesia/IV sedation, dental implants and bone grafts, dental alveolar surgery, full arch fixed reconstruction, all-on-four, teeth-in-a-day, and treatment of wisdom teeth. During this time, Jacob also received 2 years of general surgery training.
Jacob has published numerous journal articles, contributed to book chapters and won multiple awards throughout his training. He has given back to the community by providing treatment to underserved populations at the Connecticut Mission of Mercy and he has travelled on a mission trip to Belize to treat children with dental issues.
Jacob has been living in West Hartford for over 16 years and is thrilled to be practicing here. He lives with his wife and their children, and outside of work he enjoys sport fishing, hunting, SCUBA diving, skiing, and just spending time with his family.
