Dr. Emily E. King, D.M.D., M.D.
Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Emily King was born and raised in Connecticut. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2010 earning a BS in Biology with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. She received her D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2014.
Emily was awarded her M.D. from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 2017 while completing her Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Vanderbilt University’s Medical Center. During this time, she completed one year of general surgery training and published literature on anesthesia and corrective jaw surgery.
Emily is trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including: corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery, management of benign head and neck pathology, along with advanced training in dentoalveolar surgery including dental implants, and reconstructive bone grafting. She received advanced training in general anesthesia and IV sedation with a special focus on out-patient sedation.
Emily is thrilled to be practicing in the West Hartford area since completing her surgical training. She is committed to providing her patients with exceptional quality care in a comfortable and safe environment.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and hiking with her husband, Neil and their dog, Indie.
